A little bit of me for you

Talking about myself is such a difficult thing to do. I guess I’ll start by stating the inevitable: my name is Marie Gaulin-Côté. At the age of eleven months, I was adopted from China by a couple from Quebec. I love my life here in Canada.

One of my wildest dreams is to backpack around the world. I don’t know if I’ll have the guts to travel alone but one thing I know for sure is that I’ll always come back to Quebec. This is my home.

I don’t feel connected to Chinese culture. I am 100% Canadian. Proof of this is my dad’s constant remark: «You can’t be more north American than you, Marie!».

One thing you should know about me is that I am in awe of all the possibilities life allows. I am not one of those people who thinks life is simply about work and money. I believe that life is something sweet, something you have to taste every single part of until you can say « I truly lived my life the way humans were created to. ». So, let me share with you THE video that changed my perceptive on life.
